Gift Guide for Writers

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been ready for Christmas since October—decorating the house, listening to Christmas CDs (yes, CDs)—and yet, gift shopping has somehow snuck up on me. Though I can’t help you with gift giving for everyone in your life, I CAN help you with the writers and readers in your life!

This is my gift guide for writers and readers—emphasis on the ‘my’ part. I.e., not every reader or writer is guaranteed to love these items….but I’m willing to bet it’s likely they’ll be pretty stoked! So, without further ado, here’s the gift guide!

An Old Fashioned Quill

It might seem like an odd gift idea, but writing is a very nostalgic, whimsical hobby and profession, and most of us who enjoy it, also enjoy whimsical gifts. Like a quill. Plus, anyone who’s ever enjoyed Harry Potter will appreciate having a writing utensil used at Hogwarts.

Planner Accessories

Writers always have a lot going on and a lot to keep track of, so planners are our best friends…even if we don’t always use them. Here are some planners and accessories for any writer!

Bullet Journal

For those who want to create their own planner and track specific goals, a blank bullet journal is a great choice!

Pre-Made Bullet Journal

Bullet journals are great! With customizability and tracking, they’re a great choice, but not everyone wants to make one. Here’s one that has pre-made pages you can customize with color!

No Work, Bullet Journal

A bullet journal that’s pre-made and pre-colored is perfect for those who want the aesthetic of a bullet journal, but don’t want to take the time to make one!

Stencils Galore

If making your own bullet journal is up your alley, here’s the perfect stencil set to help you set up all your planners and trackers!

Mark it Up

Whether you’re into the pre-made or the DIY planners, everyone needs a good set of pens.

Dose of Seratonin

No matter if you use a planner or a to do list, crossing those to-do’s off with an aesthetically appealing set of highlighters is always fun!

Be Extra

For those who like to make their planners pretty, a sticker set is the perfect gift, and this place has 4 different options depending on your vibe!

Function and Style

Something anyone could use, for a journal or a planner, is a magnetic pen holder so you never forget those great ideas!

A Necessary Accessory

Need to mark your page in your planner? NEED it to be a cute method? This clip has you covered! It’s my favorite of the accessories and totally necessary!

And there you have it! That’s my gift list for writers and readers. Hopefully you find it helpful, whether it be for Christmas shopping, birthday shopping, or a gift for you!

If you end up getting any of these items, let me know how they worked for you! I’m always excited to see people using the things that I recommended! Makes my heart so happy—plus, I’m always looking for more excuses to buy the things on this list 🙈
