All of my books are clean reads, written with adults in mind, while also being appropriate for young adults. But in case you want more info, here’s a breakdown for what to expect.
A Tale of Ribbons & Claws
Romance: These books include kissing scenes, but nothing racy. There are no wandering hands or descriptions of tongues. It’s swoony, but not steamy.
Humor: The humor in these books is sarcastic and snarky and therefore also contains euphemisms and innuendos, but nothing vulgar. (Think jokes from The Office)
Violence: There’s general fighting, people are often wounded and some die. The violence never exceeds a PG-13 level.
Intense themes: There are mentions of past death of loved ones, and a 10 year age gap.
Legends of Avalon Trilogy
Romance: These books include kissing scenes, but nothing racy. There are no wandering hands or descriptions of tongues. It’s swoony, but not steamy. There is no sex in these books, though in some books married couples have implied sex (the reader doesn’t read anything about the intimacy as all those scenes cut off).
Humor: There’s sarcastic and snarky humor, and therefore also euphemisms and innuendos, but nothing vulgar. (Think jokes from The Office)
Violence: There’s general fighting, people are often wounded and some die. The violence never exceeds a PG-13 level.
Intense themes: These stories include death of parents (in flashbacks), house fires, brief scenes of torture (not very descriptive), and mentions of past serious illnesses (again, none of it is graphic).
The Grinch Next Door
Romance: This novella includes kissing scenes, but nothing racy. There are no wandering hands or descriptions of tongues. It’s swoony, but not steamy.
Humor: The humor in this book is sarcastic and snarky and therefore also contains euphemisms and innuendos, but nothing vulgar. (Think jokes from The Office)
Intense themes: There are mentions of past death of parents, but no flashbacks.
Overall, my books all include clean romance, snarky humor and loveable heroes.
